NEW YEARS glitter eye makeup tutorial

Hi girls! So obviously New Years is quite over. But I forgot to show you guys this tutorial until now. At least you'll be way ahead for next year's look! When I filmed this, the sound got off somehow. Sorry about that ;)

GIFT WRAP IDEAS

Hi there! Wanted to give a sneak peek of some of my wrapping paper I made for some presents. It's quite easy to do, though a bit time consuming. I love it though, makes me happy after I've wrapped a gift in a special way.

For the base paper, try and get some blank newspaper rolls locally. They can be quite cheap! For all the stripes, I used a paintbrush and black paint. You can draw the lines also with a thick sharpie pen! I tried out some sayings in random layouts. A few ideas: "Ho Ho Ho", "Merry Christmas", "xo xo".

Use whatever yarn or twine you like! Tassels are so easy to make. 1. Cut a ton of yarn the same length, 2. Wrap and tie a piece around them all, 3. Cut a few pieces to get a perfect ball!

Cheers to cute presents! xo

6 THINGS TO DO ON THANKSGIVING

Thanksgiving is almost here, guys! I'm thankful for each of you, for reading my blog and leaving such nice comments. I really hope you guys have an awesome day spent with family or friends. Here are six ways for you to feel "thankful" on the day! xoYeah yeah yeah, we all love a good dose of pumpkin spice this time of year! But it's also great for your skin! Go pamper yourself with this Pumpkin Spice Body Scrub from the blog Sincerely, Kinsey.

But then that scrub looks good enough to eat, so you'll have to whip up some pecan pie ice cream!
Sip something spicy and hot!

Write someone a card thanking them sincerely for all they have done for you

If I was hosting a Thanksgiving party, I would love to decorate like this from Somewhat Simple

Pick out a fun, cozy outfit! I love this one from FashionBombDaily.com

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

life lately series | birthday & LA

I turned 20 on the 15th! It was a gorgeous day spent with shopping, food, and family. But what a day filled with mixed emotions. What a shocking, gut wrenching experience. i felt for those people who went through the explosions in Boston. We traveled the day after to LA for a week of packing up my auntie's house. I found all sorts of odds and ends of fashion items. Hats, purses (even a COACH bag!) and clothes in a giveaway bag. It made my week let me tell you!
