labor day of inspiration

thought i would share this little piece of lovliness with you guys. inspires me in my whimsical ponderings and creations. i also wanted to say that i hope you guys are enjoying your labor day holiday! i spent the day working on cleaning and organizing my studio place and now am sewing while watching shows. today's feature is from belle and sebastian, a band who just came out with their new album- write about love. i especially love their song, little lou, ugly jack, prophet john. norah jones sings on it and it's a catchy tune. here's their website.

when doing the art for the album, they asked fans to submit photos to a flickr page of them writing “write about love” in secret or public places, in the town they live in. i just love these pictures so much.
