i've been thinking a lot about how many mean and cruel things are said to people every day. Especially at schools. I never went to a public school since I was home schooled, but after talking with some girls lately about how much they've been teased and bullied~ a few thoughts have processed and formed inside my tiny mind.
we ask why? Why would they say something just to hurt another? maybe it's how we look, something we've done or said, or who we are as a person.
i've realized that they must have some hurt inside that is bursting out in the wrong way. it could be that they don't have a parent at home who is loving and protecting them.
maybe those bullies, are the ones who need love the most. now maybe you're thinking, 'that person does not deserve love!' well, do any of us really deserve love? how could we ever deserve God's love? i want you to go and grab a Bible off that shelf and look up this passage. John 13:34-35.
come one. go and actually read those two verses. they will help.
if you didn't go and read it i will give you a hint to what it says. God commands us to love one another, as HE HAS LOVED US. now God died for us out of love and grace, and though we probably won't ever have to die for someone else, it does mean that we have to be ready to give anything and everything for another person.
because the more love you give them, the more lovable they will become.
