Because the eye colors typically change from light to darker colors, mascara colors should compliment the shade of eye shadow. Recently, autumn makeup trends have pointed towards a smoky grey look for eyes, so black mascara should be used in this case. Smoky eyes are always a great dramatic feature for evening, but you may wish to keep a warmer look for daytime, especially if you’re fair of skin and hair.
